Kings High School
Community Service Program

Kings Local

History

Community Service at Kings High School has been a tradition for many years. It began in the early 1990’s under the leadership of retired superintendent William Caudill. The decision to make community service a part of our secondary school experience was guided by a desire and intent that our students incorporate service to our immediate and greater communities as a part of their development as young adults.

As the program has grown, our students have been involved both locally and nationally in a number of programs such as: hospitals, nursing homes, Habitat for Humanity, churches, schools, animal shelters and camps. As a result of their involvement, many students have received scholarship awards from colleges and universities.
